The NXT LEVEL Youth Opportunity Center connects 16 to 24 year olds to resources to help meet your personal, educational and career goals. Coaches at the center help you create a plan to get you to the NXT LEVEL.

Services
The NXT LEVEL Youth Opportunity Center is a safe place where you can meet with a coach who will offer you support, empowerment and access to new opportunities! We are currently supporting you with virtual and in-person appointments!
Support
Sometimes things happen in life. We are here to help you define success and help you achieve it! You can expect to have one-on-one coaching sessions as often as you’d like to identify anything going on in your life that may need some help. Together, you will create a plan and a meeting schedule to make sure you are safe and feel comfortable exploring your NXT LEVEL.
Opportunity
When you are ready to get to the NXT LEVEL, we will help you go back to school if that is the right step for you or find a job related to your interest. Once you start, we will continue to be there for you to make sure you meet your goals.
Empowerment
We are here to be your cheerleader and guide you in the right direction. In order to get you to your NXT LEVEL, we will make sure you have all the tools you need to be successful. Some things we can help with are finding a safe place to sleep, transportation, child care, or just being there for you when you need us.

FAQ
How much does it cost to meet with someone at the NXT LEVEL Youth Opportunity Center?
There is no cost for you to meet with a coach and create a plan to help you get to the NXT LEVEL. Coaches try to refer you to services that are at no-cost or low-cost to you. If you ever have any concerns regarding payment for services, please contact us immediately.
Who do you provide services to?
Everyone is welcome is here at NXT LEVEL! We provide services to youth from a variety of social economic backgrounds to include homeless youth, LGBTQ+ youth, foster youth and all young adults who are currently not working or not in school between the ages of 16-24. Our team takes yearly training to be trauma informed because we want to make sure we always make the best efforts to understand what happened in your life. Our team also attends yearly LGBTQ+ Cultural Competency Training to help us make sure we are creating safe spaces and building allies through increased knowledge and understanding.
What are the requirements to receive services?
- -Be between the ages of 16 to 24
- -Live in San Antonio/Bexar County (a permanent address is not required)
- -Have an education and/or career goal
- -Currently not enrolled in school, education program, or career training program
- -Not working more than 30+ part-time hours
What can I expect on my first visit?
Once you have contacted NXT LEVEL and scheduled a visit, you will need to sign in when you arrive with a member of our team. You will get a tour of the center and then meet with your two NXT LEVEL Coaches to talk about ways we can help.
I have my high school diploma, but I can’t find a job. Can you help?
Yes! Our NXT LEVEL Coaches will meet with you to discuss your interests and help identify any job training you may need.
Can I still get help if I have a criminal background?
Yes, the NXT LEVEL team is here to offer support regardless of your past.
I heard about AlamoPROMISE, how do I sign up?
If you are a graduating high school senior, you may qualify for AlamoPROMISE. To learn more about the AlamoPROMISE program, your eligibility, and how to sign up, visit https://www.alamo.edu/promise/
Alamo Colleges District has partnered with NXT LEVEL to offer NXT LEVEL participants an opportunity to enroll into AlamoPROMISE even if you earned your HSE or high school diploma outside of a traditional school setting. Once you enroll into NXT LEVEL, ask you education coaches how you can enroll.
